Horacio Montrell helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Patricios de Futbol's Horacio Montrell got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Patricios de Futbol's zone, Eustaquio Hernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Teyo came out of the goal and Eustaquio Hernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Gizon in the 12th minute of play forced Club Patricios de Futbol's goalkeeper Santo Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Hernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Nereo Isadore, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Club Patricios de Futbol's Santo Teyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Hernandez in the 20th minute of play. Severiano Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Kismi having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Severiano Gutierrez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Club Patricios de Futbol's Artemio Orlondo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Eustaquio Hernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Club Patricios de Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Tirso to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Teyo having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Eustaquio Hernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Marciano Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Widos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Canor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Niceto Gizon came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Widos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Gizon couldn't finish the play. Marciano Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Gogo Dorio fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Patricios de Futbol's protests and gave Gogo Dorio a yellow card for diving instead. Gogo Dorio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Hernandez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Santo Teyo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eustaquio Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Patricios de Futbol's Santo Teyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Patricios de Futbol from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Widos FC's Marciano Canor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Teyo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Club Patricios de Futbol's Santo Teyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Club Patricios de Futbol from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Patricios de Futbol's goalkeeper Santo Teyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. German Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Esquipula in the 95th minute of play. If Jairo Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Patricios de Futbol fans cheered their team off the field, for while Widos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
