In the 10th minute Lorenzo Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Milio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Mel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Milio in the 15th minute of play forced Cacheuta's goalkeeper Guillermo Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Esteve Johans came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cacheuta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Johans couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogelio Luix during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonel Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Jobo in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Esteve Johans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moteagudo's Leonel Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Jobo in the 27th minute of play. Leonel Jakes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Jobo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Esteve Johans came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Cacheuta fans jumped to their feet. After having played for 42 minutes, Esteve Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacheuta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Johans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Lorenzo Jobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Esteve Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lorenzo Jobo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonel Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorenzo Jobo in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Moteagudo's Feliberto Socorro got a free kick in the 54th minute. Lorenzo Jobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Milio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cacheuta's Guillermo Mel. Guillermo Mel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ernesto Uhin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Jakes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. If Lorenzo Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Uhin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes, Moteagudo's Lucio Firmo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillermo Mel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moteagudo reached it. In the 73rd minute of the match Segundo Pinto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonel Jakes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Moteagudo's Narciso Henric nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Mel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moteagudo's goalkeeper Leonel Jakes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Moteagudo got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Henric. After a defensive mix-up in Moteagudo's zone, Esteve Johans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Jakes came out of the goal and Esteve Johans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Jakes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Jobo's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Lorenzo Jobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacheuta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Jobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Moteagudo's goalkeeper Leonel Jakes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteve Johans. Lorenzo Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Leonel Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guillermo Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Milio in the 97th minute of play.
