Ernesto Iratze might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Benitez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Iratze ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Naranjito's Leopoldo Santio got a free kick in the 7th minute. Wilstermann's Segundo Fanuco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Higinio Rozarius but with some difficulty. If Ramon Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wilstermann! Mauro Eusko kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Naranjito's Ernesto Iratze got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Alto Wach managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naranjito's supporters rose to their feet, but Alto Wach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Benitez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute of the match Felix Paz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Benitez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Segundo Fanuco hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ernesto Iratze took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Benitez. Gabriel Benitez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alto Wach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alto Wach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Casado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Higinio Rozarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Leonel Casado made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Wilstermann's Leonel Casado made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Higinio Rozarius was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Naranjito's Ernesto Iratze slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabriel Benitez. That made the score 1-3 after 55 minutes of play. If Ramon Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Ramon Telo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gabriel Benitez. Ramon Telo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 69th minute Ernesto Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ernesto Iratze came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Naranjito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Iratze couldn't finish the play. Alto Wach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gabriel Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimeno Kusko struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Higinio Rozarius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wilstermann. Wilstermann's Gabriel Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Iratze in the 77th minute of play. Wilstermann's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Ernesto Iratze scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Benitez, making the score, 1-5. Ernesto Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ramon Telo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wilstermann's zone, Ernesto Iratze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Benitez came out of the goal and Ernesto Iratze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Wilstermann getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gonzalo Felipillo hit a great ball.
