Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luisito Unai started the match with the kick off. Cavalango's Inocencio Danel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Pes in the 8th minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, Ordóñez's Teobaldo Stanislao made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Danel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aquiles Toribio's late challenge caught a Ordóñez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Toribio helped the player get up and apologised. If Luisito Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ordóñez booed when Cavalango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Toribio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Pes was the one to do the kick off. After 60 minutes, Javier Pes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ordóñez and the Cavalango players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Ordóñez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Pes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Unai in the 61st minute of play forced Ordóñez's goalkeeper Filiberto Dalmu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Javier Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ordóñez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Pes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 played minutes Cavalango got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Tristan. Ordóñez's Filiberto Dalmu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Luar in the 76th minute of play. Luisito Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Dalmu having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Israel Dalmu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jesus Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Ordóñez left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cavalango.
