A sloppy throw-in by Javier Dei in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Borbotones's Geronimo Hanni. 14 minutes into the game, Cipriano Nikola recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelino Berdoi. Cipriano Nikola showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Leonides Aznar hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Los Borbotones's Angelino Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Rumaldo in the 25th minute of play. Higinio Gora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelino Berdoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Angelino Berdoi made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ruben Rumaldo sent off a good shot on target. The attack was good, but when Higinio Gora in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Rumaldo got free with Angelino Berdoi in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Anastasio Guillelme made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Nikola struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Angelino Berdoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for los chelcos rugby. Los Borbotones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave los chelcos rugby the free kick. Angelino Berdoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Gora in the 84th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
