Israel Dalmu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Lixandro having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Cosme Cai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachipampa AFC and the Ordóñez players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cachipampa AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cosme Cai hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Cipriano Lixandro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 50th minute of the match Ordóñez got a corner. Cachipampa AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Israel Dalmu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Faustino Maurino tried in the 50th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Cipriano Lixandro a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Ordóñez made a substitution. Victorino Santiago replaced Andres Palben. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edelmiro Quirce was the one to do the kick off. If Israel Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
