Celestino Rojelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Benitez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celestino Rojelio ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Serafino Lidon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorino Hitz. Anarquía's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafino Lidon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Lidon in the 47th minute of play forced Anarquía's goalkeeper Victorino Hitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Hilario Tirso's late challenge caught a Anarquía's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Landers short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Victorino Hitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Serafino Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Severino Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Nacional De Futbol's Damaso Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Rojelio in the 83rd minute of play.
