Rigoberto Weather went to the wrong direction when Ubaldo Ugaitz was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Camilo Montez came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Rodeo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Montez couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Ugaitz scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Weather, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ubaldo Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rigoberto Weather tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Baldomiro Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Mono Insano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Ikatz came free, but Rigoberto Weather reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Weather showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Ugaitz in the 26th minute of the match. When Ricardo Asur was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. In the 28th match minute, Mono Insano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Asur to maneuver through the defense. When Emanuel Estebano fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mono Insano FC's protests and gave Emanuel Estebano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rodeo booed when Mono Insano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Estebano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Weather took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Mendez charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
