An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Kelemen in the 28th minute of play forced Deportivo Atómico's goalkeeper Guaberto Tirso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Tirso made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Justino Karmel sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the game, Deportivo Atómico's Desiderio Bernaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Godofredo Presebal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 42nd minute Desiderio Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Presebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ubaldo Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Deportivo Alejandría F.C getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Antonio Abad hit a great ball. In the 50th minute, Desiderio Bernaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Deportivo Atómico were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jonas Kelemen made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Alejandría F.C's Antonio Abad got a free kick in the 59th minute. Desiderio Bernaldo in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Godofredo Presebal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 63rd match minute, Deportivo Alejandría F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Osmundo to maneuver through the defense. When Antonio Abad fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Alejandría F.C's protests and gave Antonio Abad a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Alejandría F.C's zone, Ubaldo Lucero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Presebal came out of the goal and Ubaldo Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Alejandría F.C's Godofredo Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Lucero in the 84th minute of play. Godofredo Presebal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ubaldo Lucero's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute Justino Karmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Tirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Karmel, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alejandría F.C's Jonas Kelemen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Tirso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Deportivo Atómico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
