Spectators: 7139 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Norberto Fonso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Deportivo Atómico's Guaberto Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Indartsu in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes, Jonas Obeko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Atómico and the Marayes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonas Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Marayes's Tiburcio Ilazki got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guaberto Tirso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Marayes getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Florencio Indartsu hit a great ball. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marayes! In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo Atómico. Pedro Michael stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benicio Bixintxo. 0-1. The supporters of Marayes booed when Deportivo Atómico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Norberto Fonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marayes's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Fonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Tirso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 21 minutes, Ubaldo Lucero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Atómico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Lucero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute Desiderio Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Bixintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marayes's Florencio Indartsu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guaberto Tirso. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. 34 minutes into the match, Norberto Fonso notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Deportivo Atómico's Guaberto Tirso. Guaberto Tirso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florencio Indartsu might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Tirso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Indartsu ran back to his position shaking his head. Norberto Fonso in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guaberto Tirso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Florencio Indartsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Tirso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Indartsu in the 58th minute of the match. If Florencio Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Indartsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Guaberto Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Blasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desiderio Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guaberto Tirso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Ilazki in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Norberto Fonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marayes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Norberto Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Guaberto Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Atómico's zone, Norberto Fonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Tirso came out of the goal and Norberto Fonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Florencio Indartsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
