After a defensive mix-up in Nihuil's zone, Danilo Jaen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Incendio came out of the goal and Danilo Jaen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tronador's Raul Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Cristofol in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Orlo got free with Aurelio Incendio in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haroldo Vistruario struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Aurelio Incendio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tronador. 20 minutes into the match, Gervasio Santana notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tronador's Raul Hug. Raul Hug was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nihuil's Aurelio Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Vistruario in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Tronador's Flavio Maura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Incendio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27thth minute of the game Haroldo Vistruario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nihuil's Aurelio Incendio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Nihuil's Blas Sandaili got a free kick in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Nihuil's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Vistruario came free, but Aurelio Incendio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tronador's Raul Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Theobald in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Nihuil's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Maura came free, but Aurelio Incendio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Gipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Incendio having to interfere. Haroldo Vistruario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Incendio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anastasio Lando hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Nihuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Cristofol to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the game, Ciro Idacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aurelio Incendio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Danilo Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Haroldo Vistruario put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aurelio Incendio. Raul Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Sandaili in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Ciro Idacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Incendio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Cayetano Iratzeder came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Tronador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Iratzeder couldn't finish the play. When Tronador's Haroldo Vistruario, in the 72nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Tronador. Flavio Maura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Aurelio Incendio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Nihuil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Sandaili to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Tronador's Flavio Maura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Incendio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. The supporters of Nihuil booed when Tronador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Maura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 88 minutes, Flavio Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tronador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Maura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Vistruario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelio Incendio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Aurelio Incendio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Vistruario's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When Flavio Maura came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tronador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Maura couldn't finish the play. When Tronador's Haroldo Vistruario in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nihuil's goalie prevented a goal. Anastasio Lando's late challenge caught a Tronador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Lando helped the player get up and apologised. Anastasio Lando hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tronador fully deserved thier win.
