An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Claris in the 14th minute of play forced Tronador's goalkeeper Raul Hug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Idacio struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Carolo Iraunkor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tronador. In the 19th match minute, san lorenzo de almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Vistruario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tronador's Victoriano Aznar got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carolo Iraunkor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Vistruario in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, san lorenzo de almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Victoriano Aznar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tronador's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Aznar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Iraunkor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Raul Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Costante, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Carolo Iraunkor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Vistruario in the 54th minute of play. Victoriano Aznar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Victoriano Aznar came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Tronador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Aznar couldn't finish the play. Tronador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing san lorenzo de almagro to leave the ground with a draw.
