After 7 minutes of play, Nihuil's Maximino Cristofol made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Ubendu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Theobald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Florentino Ubendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Ubendu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Theobald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nihuil fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Carcarañá a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eloy Loramendi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nihuil's Aurelio Incendio. 1-1. Nihuil's Aurelio Incendio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Nihuil from getting a goal against them. Cornelio Joanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Incendio having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match, Cornelio Joanes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurelio Incendio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 40 minutes into the match, Nihuil's goalkeeper Aurelio Incendio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Luzea. Nihuil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Pascual Luzea scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Incendio, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Cristofol in the 44th minute of play forced Carcarañá's goalkeeper Florentino Ubendu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelio Joanes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Felix Theobald got a very nice opportunity to score, but Florentino Ubendu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aurelio Incendio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Luzea in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Teodoro Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Carcarañá getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Teobaldo Clis hit a great ball. Nihuil were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Carcarañá's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leopoldo Rosalio took the corner. Nihuil's Leopoldo Rosalio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Florentino Ubendu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 69 minutes into the game, Pascual Luzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carcarañá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nihuil the free kick. Pascual Luzea kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Cornelio Joanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nihuil's Aurelio Incendio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, one of Nihuil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nihuil. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Carcarañá. Eloy Loramendi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aurelio Incendio. 3-1. Aurelio Incendio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Joanes in the 84th minute of the match. Gervasio Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gervasio Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Nihuil got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Santana. After 91 minutes of play, Carcarañá's Pascual Luzea made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Incendio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 95 played minutes Nihuil got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Santana. There was no doubt that Carcarañá were the better team. Carcarañá's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
