Spectators: 7237 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Enrique Telesforo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Tomás Dabi made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Enaut. Gimnasia y Tiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gregorio Bartoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Telesforo in the 10th minute of the match. Enrique Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Bartoli having to interfere. Roberto Joseph charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Joseph the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Entrenando Team's Roberto Joseph got a free kick in the 20th minute. Enrique Telesforo struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gregorio Bartoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gimnasia y Tiro. After 25 played minutes Gimnasia y Tiro got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Edorta. Gregorio Bartoli made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Laureano Pancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, Roberto Joseph hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Entrenando Team booed when Gimnasia y Tiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Niguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Gizon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Dabi might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Enaut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Dabi ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauro Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Enaut having to interfere. Gimnasia y Tiro's Leandro Enaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Presebal in the 40th minute of play. Laureano Pancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gregorio Bartoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauro Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Enaut having to interfere. After the first half Entrenando Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mauro Presebal to strike the kick off in the second half. If Tomás Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Mauro Presebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gimnasia y Tiro's Leandro Enaut proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Gimnasia y Tiro from getting a goal against them. Mauro Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Entrenando Team's zone, Enrique Telesforo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Bartoli came out of the goal and Enrique Telesforo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Dabi in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leandro Enaut, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an all-out effort, Entrenando Team's Leandro Enaut threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mauro Presebal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leandro Enaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Presebal in the 86th minute of play.
