After having played for 5 minutes, Baldomiro Uzuri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teofilo Fe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cayetano Joanes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Buinton went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Teodoro Buinton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cayetano Joanes. Atlético Tacú's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Buinton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Teodoro Buinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baldomiro Uzuri came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Atlético Tacú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Uzuri couldn't finish the play. If Epifanio Charro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La FRAGATA de Casanova's Tomás Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Uzuri in the 30th minute of play. Carlos Mateus in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tomás Joachim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th minute, Teofilo Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomás Joachim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Mateus in the 38th minute. Tomás Joachim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Fe in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Atlético Tacú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Uzuri to maneuver through the defense. If Teodoro Buinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Tacú's Teofilo Fe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomás Joachim. That made the score 2-2 after 47 minutes of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Buinton made a kick off. Tomás Joachim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Mateus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Fe struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Tomás Joachim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Tacú. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Faron during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes La FRAGATA de Casanova got a freekick which was hit by Diego Faron. In the 68th minute, Carlos Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute of the match Delmar Haritzeder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Joachim skillfully saved the ball. In the 72nd minute, Teofilo Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Mateus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Joachim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Teofilo Fe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Tacú fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. After having played for 96 minutes, Carlos Mateus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
