Hugo Gregory hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Astor Baudelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Mero kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Emiliano Erramun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Tacoyoj FC's Carmelo Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Erramun in the 66th minute of play. Despite being the better team, banfield AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
