An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Eusko in the 13th minute of play forced VILLA ZAPIOLA's goalkeeper Andri Kirsipuu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andri Kirsipuu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Eusko in the 15th minute of play. The Chovet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 21 minutes of play, Chovet's Guaberto Eusko made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andri Kirsipuu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, one of VILLA ZAPIOLA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Chovet a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fermin Musko, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of VILLA ZAPIOLA's Andri Kirsipuu. 0-3. After 37 minutes, Esteban Llin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VILLA ZAPIOLA and the Chovet players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Guaberto Eusko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andri Kirsipuu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Julian Telo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andri Kirsipuu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Telo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honorio Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Rosendo Jesco came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Chovet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rosendo Jesco couldn't finish the play. If Rosendo Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Eusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Chovet's zone, Teodoro Isaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Paul came out of the goal and Teodoro Isaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 minutes, Honorio Dominguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VILLA ZAPIOLA and the Chovet players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to VILLA ZAPIOLA getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Honorio Dominguez hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Aquiles Belo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Paul was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 88 minutes into the match, VILLA ZAPIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Telo came free, but Andri Kirsipuu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Chovet were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after VILLA ZAPIOLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fermin Musko took the corner. Chovet's Ivan Paul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Isaio in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Aquiles Belo made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Paul. Chovet's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chovet eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
