Quilino FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Mikelar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Semeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Quilino FC booed when Perón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Herauso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Semeno was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Lucio Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Herauso in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Herauso got free with Lucio Semeno in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes Perón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Micael. In the 26th match minute, Quilino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Pirro to maneuver through the defense. If Manuel Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Semeno having to interfere. If Fernan Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernan Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Perón AFC's Lucio Semeno got control of the ball when Gaspar Herauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Quilino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Distiratsu to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of Quilino FC booed when Perón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Perón AFC's zone, Gerardo Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Semeno came out of the goal and Gerardo Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Gaspar Herauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quilino FC's Fernan Cordarrell got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gaspar Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sixto Pirro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucio Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Herauso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Isaias Hitzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apolo Otoniel's late challenge caught a Quilino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Otoniel helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Perón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Otoniel. Fernan Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Semeno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Sixto Pirro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quilino FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Lucio Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Cordarrell in the 85th minute of play. Gaspar Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Semeno having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Quilino FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
