In a very dangerous position, a player in Racing fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! In the 9th minute Fermin Cresencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blas Bemabe during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 11 minutes into the game, one of Racing:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Santiago Chano shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 21st minute Florentino Larra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joaquin Eguzki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fermin Cresencio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Larra in the 27th minute of play forced Racing's goalkeeper Joaquin Eguzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astor Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Oso kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Ignatius in the 44th minute of play forced Tacoyoj FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carmelo Arotza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Ignatius in the 45th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Racing's zone, Florentino Larra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Eguzki came out of the goal and Florentino Larra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Florentino Larra made the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Arotza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fermin Cresencio went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Godofredo Tello's late challenge caught a Tacoyoj FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godofredo Tello helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 56 minutes, Astor Baudelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacoyoj FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astor Baudelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Astor Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacoyoj FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Arotza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquin Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Baudelio in the 72nd minute of the match. Florentino Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Eguzki having to interfere. Fermin Cresencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Astor Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Racing's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Larra came free, but Joaquin Eguzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tacoyoj FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
