Fenerbahce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Lapurdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dalmacio Lando fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VILLA ZAPIOLA's protests and gave Dalmacio Lando a yellow card for diving instead. Dalmacio Lando hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Andri Kirsipuu made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Maximiliano Lapurdi sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Angel Gaspard managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Fenerbahce's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aquiles Belo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. VILLA ZAPIOLA's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
