The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Niceto Oso fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tacoyoj FC's protests and gave Niceto Oso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tacoyoj FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Niceto Oso hit a great ball. The supporters of Tacoyoj FC booed when Quilino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Pirro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Arotza having to interfere. Fernan Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes in the game, Fernan Cordarrell fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carmelo Arotza having to interfere. Amadeo Distiratsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Carmelo Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quilino FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Tacoyoj FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gerardo Mikelar took the corner. Tacoyoj FC's Carmelo Arotza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Tacoyoj FC from getting a goal against them. Fernan Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Arotza having to interfere. Carmelo Arotza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diego Flor went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Florentino Larra made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Florentino Larra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fernan Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diego Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Carmelo Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Tacoyoj FC got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Amor. 69 minutes into the match, Tacoyoj FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Mikelar came free, but Carmelo Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tacoyoj FC's Florentino Larra got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Tacoyoj FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Pirro came free, but Carmelo Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernan Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaias Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Tacoyoj FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Flor came free, but Carmelo Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Amadeo Distiratsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Distiratsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Tacoyoj FC defense, Sixto Pirro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Arotza. The Tacoyoj FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Arotza should have stopped the shot. In the 90th match minute, Quilino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Pirro to maneuver through the defense. Tacoyoj FC's Florentino Larra got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niceto Oso was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 96th minute, one of Tacoyoj FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tacoyoj FC. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Quilino FC. Sixto Pirro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carmelo Arotza. 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Quilino FC had played much better football throughout.
