If Honorio Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Lucio Taurino put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benedicto Frutos. Honorio Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Lucio Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Leopoldo Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingo Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Alfonso Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Taurino in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Fliz during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ermegildo Fliz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Mariano Vasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Honorio Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Silverio Breogan fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Santa Clara's protests and gave Silverio Breogan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute Domingo Quintyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★ defense, Domingo Quintyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Frutos. The ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Frutos should have stopped the shot. Mariano Hermelando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Neto in the 47th minute of the match. The ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Santa Clara were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Honorio Neto made the kick off in the second half. Honorio Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alfonso Donio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mariano Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★'s zone, Lucio Taurino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Frutos came out of the goal and Lucio Taurino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Atlético Santa Clara's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Neto came free, but Mariano Hermelando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ermegildo Fliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedicto Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Taurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★ got a freekick which was hit by Adan Primo. 82 minutes into the match, ★ƠVЄƦ LƠƦƊ★'s goalkeeper Benedicto Frutos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Domingo Quintyn. If Lucio Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Fliz got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Benedicto Frutos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Quintyn in the 97th minute. Atlético Santa Clara's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
