The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Ondino during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, one of Kay FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kay FC. The goalkeeper, Damaso Pere, was totally fooled by Matheu's Everardo Azeari, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Paulino Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Kay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Jusepe came free, but Damaso Pere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Martinez's late challenge caught a Kay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Martinez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Kay FC booed when Matheu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheu were furious when Edgardo Hustaz was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iker Ondino in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damaso Pere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the match, Matheu's Felix Damario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Pere narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Matheu's goalkeeper Jacobo Fonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Cordarell.
