The audience thought a goal was coming when Amancio Mendez got free with Luis Eguzki in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Polska FC's Luis Eguzki threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florencio Llin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot 39 in the game by Amancio Mendez from a close distance when the talented Luis Eguzki managed to make a qualified save. Chañar AFC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Chañar AFC's zone, Florencio Llin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Eguzki came out of the goal and Florencio Llin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Eguzki made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Amancio Mendez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Chañar AFC's Ambrosio Cordareo got a free kick in the 47th minute. Eustacio Soter struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Luis Eguzki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polska FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Mendez to make the kick off. Luis Eguzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Chañar AFC booed when Polska FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Eguzki having to interfere. Luis Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Llin in the 62nd minute of play. After 69 minutes, Amancio Mendez made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chañar AFC's Luis Eguzki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Amancio Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Eguzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Jonas Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lisandro Udalaitz fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chañar AFC's protests and gave Lisandro Udalaitz a yellow card for diving instead. It was beautiful to see Polska FC's Ryszard Bucyki in action when he in the 84th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Florencio Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Eguzki having to interfere. Ambrosio Cordareo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Chañar AFC's Luis Eguzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Mendez in the 91st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Florencio Llin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Eguzki was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. After 94 played minutes Chañar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Gonsalve.
