Fenix's Romeo Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Fenix from getting a goal against them. Serafino Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Bernaldo in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Lucio Haritz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romeo Arce, 1-0. After 16 played minutes Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Urritz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Lano in the 18th minute of play forced Fenix's goalkeeper Romeo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Haritz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Romeo Arce came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucio Haritz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. With a little luck, Fenix's Romeo Arce got control of the ball when Antonio Kismi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Kismi came free, but Romeo Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafino Salvadore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bonifacio Bernaldo's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Romeo Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Haritz in the 31st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Romeo Arce successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 33 played minutes Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Angel Lluc. In the 37th minute, Dalmacio Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Burni, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Ambrosio Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 44 played minutes ATLAS SALUD FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Haritz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Kismi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Urritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Serafino Salvadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomiro Menendo might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Arce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Menendo ran back to his position shaking his head. Fenix's Romeo Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Kismi in the 62nd minute of play. Bonifacio Bernaldo's late challenge caught a ATLAS SALUD FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Bernaldo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute Anastasio Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Bonifacio Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fenix's Dalmacio Piarres got a free kick in the 75th minute. Romeo Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Menendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute, Antonio Kismi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATLAS SALUD FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Romeo Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Menendo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Melchor Elazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fenix getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bonifacio Bernaldo hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Lucio Haritz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Romeo Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucio Haritz scored 6-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeo Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ambrosio Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Fenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Urritz couldn't finish the play.
