The referee showed Julian Oroitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Hume got a freekick which was hit by Julian Oroitz. Placido Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Sebastian Gabrio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hume 's Segundo Oroitz didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Gaspar Erroman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Delfino was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. If Gaspar Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edelmiro Modestio took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Oroitz. Segundo Oroitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Edelmiro Modestio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hume 's zone, Edelmiro Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Oroitz came out of the goal and Edelmiro Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Gaspar Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yeruá's Marcelo Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Erroman in the 35th minute of play. If Isaias Ekhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 43rd minute, Amancio Sustrai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Sustrai to make the kick off. Yeruá's Marcelo Delfino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Yeruá from getting a goal against them. Gaspar Erroman struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Marcelo Delfino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hume . Silvio Llin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Marcelo Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvio Llin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hume 's Silvio Llin in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yeruá's goalie prevented a goal. Marcelo Delfino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Llin in the 77th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yeruá's zone, Gaspar Erroman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Delfino came out of the goal and Gaspar Erroman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Erroman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Delfino having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hume 's zone, Edelmiro Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Oroitz came out of the goal and Edelmiro Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute, Amancio Sustrai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yeruá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yeruá fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hume had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
