Fidel Joseph took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Segio in the 27th minute of play forced Hume 's goalkeeper Segundo Oroitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaspar Erroman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Joseph having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, lanus fc's Severiano Segio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Segundo Oroitz. Segundo Oroitz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 40th minute, Severiano Segio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Segundo Oroitz. The goal made the score 3-0. Severiano Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Oroitz having to interfere. Gonzalo Aragones lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Segundo Oroitz, was totally fooled by lanus fc's Geronimo Nazario, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Segio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Nazario took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Segundo Oroitz. Hume 's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Gaspar Erroman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 62 in the game by Placido Edwardo from a close distance when the talented Fidel Joseph managed to make a qualified save. lanus fc's players were relieved. In the 67th minute, Severiano Segio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Segundo Oroitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Astor Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Hume 's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Segio came free, but Segundo Oroitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Joseph made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Gaspar Erroman sent off a good shot on target. Segundo Oroitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Segio in the 88th minute of the match. Segundo Oroitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, lanus fc's Fidel Joseph got control of the ball when Gaspar Erroman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Astor Frances ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. lanus fc had won after a very even match.
