Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 100) Zacarias Domingues started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Severo Mederi came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Burguito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Mederi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 5 minutes, Severo Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burguito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 minutes of play, Burguito FC's Atilano Rufio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Chale was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Severo Mederi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Medero in the 14th minute of play forced Ahoniken's goalkeeper Pascual Chale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Severo Mederi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Burguito FC's Leonardo Medero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascual Chale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Leonardo Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pascual Chale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Abeita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Chale having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Severo Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burguito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Mederi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascual Chale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ahoniken's zone, Jonatan Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Chale came out of the goal and Jonatan Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Rufio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Chale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Rufio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The Ahoniken players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Burguito FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Medero was the one to do the kick off. Severo Mederi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Medero got free with Pascual Chale in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Sauveur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Carioca having to interfere. Burguito FC's Geovani Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Domingues in the 61st minute of play. Atilano Rufio struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Pascual Chale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burguito FC. Severo Mederi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pascual Chale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Leonardo Medero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascual Chale having to make a save. With a little luck, Ahoniken's Pascual Chale got control of the ball when Leonardo Medero tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Victor Abeita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pascual Chale. Ahoniken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Abeita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Victor Abeita might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascual Chale. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Abeita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute, Leonardo Medero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Burguito FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ahoniken throughout the match.
