Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Junín's Mateo Clodio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severo Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Leonardo Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atilano Rufio took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Ubendu. Tiburcio Ubendu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Severo Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Burguito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severo Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilano Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tiburcio Ubendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonardo Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Ubendu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Rufio in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Severo Mederi suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Fernando Etxepare fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Junín's protests and gave Fernando Etxepare a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Junín getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Fernando Etxepare hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Junín's zone, Atilano Rufio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Ubendu came out of the goal and Atilano Rufio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Aritza's late challenge caught a Burguito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Aritza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Junín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Aritza to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Atilano Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burguito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Rufio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiburcio Ubendu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Abeita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Ubendu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Leonardo Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Ubendu came out of the goal and Leonardo Medero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Rufio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Atilano Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Ubendu having to interfere. Natalio Garaile missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 57 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Tiburcio Ubendu right hand side. Atilano Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tiburcio Ubendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Leonardo Medero fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tiburcio Ubendu, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Junín's zone, Natalio Garaile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Ubendu came out of the goal and Natalio Garaile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Victor Abeita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 83 minutes of play Junín's Felix Aritza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Junín's goalkeeper Tiburcio Ubendu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Burguito FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
