Donato Eudoxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Veremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Inocencio Donzel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Bidari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blas Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Donato Eudoxio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Etxekopar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Etxekopar got free with Inocencio Donzel in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Bernardino Bidari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Donzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico El Campeón's zone, Bernardino Bidari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. For all the effort they put into the match, the Basavilbaso AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico El Campeón.
