Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 87) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristobal Garaile took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gaudencio Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaudencio Theobald made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Veronica in the 5th minute. Apolo Perpinya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Palben, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Cristobal Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Perpinya came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by SDF Chimuelo's Silvano Palben. But to his dismay, Silvano Palben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 15 played minutes C. A. Los Persas got a freekick which was hit by Diego Rolado. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Los Persas's zone, Silvano Palben stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Perpinya came out of the goal and Silvano Palben tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute, Cristobal Garaile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SDF Chimuelo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Diego Rolado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Los Persas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SDF Chimuelo the free kick. Apolo Perpinya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Fanuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. SDF Chimuelo's Cristobal Garaile got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristobal Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Rolado hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Los Persas's goalkeeper Apolo Perpinya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half SDF Chimuelo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 57 played minutes C. A. Los Persas got a freekick which was hit by Albino Evangelista. Amador Fanuco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Perpinya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Marco Aguirre hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a little luck, C. A. Los Persas's Apolo Perpinya got control of the ball when Amador Fanuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvano Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Perpinya having to interfere. Albino Evangelista's late challenge caught a SDF Chimuelo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Evangelista helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes C. A. Los Persas got a freekick which was hit by Albino Evangelista. In the 74th minute, C. A. Los Persas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silvano Palben fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 84 played minutes C. A. Los Persas got a freekick which was hit by Albino Evangelista. C. A. Los Persas's Apolo Perpinya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Garaile in the 85th minute of play. Cristobal Garaile blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apolo Perpinya having to make a save. Silvano Palben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Apolo Perpinya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, SDF Chimuelo's Cristobal Garaile nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Apolo Perpinya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the final whistle sounded SDF Chimuelo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. A. Los Persas.
