Donato Eudoxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Garaile, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Silvano Palben might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Eudoxio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvano Palben ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jose Etxekopar came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Basavilbaso AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Etxekopar couldn't finish the play. Donato Eudoxio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Fanuco in the 13th minute of play. Silvano Palben scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Eudoxio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, SDF Chimuelo's goalkeeper Gaudencio Theobald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Etxekopar. With 22 minutes on the clock, Cleto Urtungo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Basavilbaso AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SDF Chimuelo:s goal. Donato Eudoxio came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by SDF Chimuelo's Silvano Palben. But to his dismay, Silvano Palben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Donato Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Garaile in the 29th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Cristobal Garaile made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Basavilbaso AFC's Donato Eudoxio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristobal Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Silvano Palben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SDF Chimuelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Palben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Etxekopar made a kick off. Pascual Quintan struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gaudencio Theobald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basavilbaso AFC. Silvano Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jose Etxekopar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, SDF Chimuelo's Silvano Palben nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Donato Eudoxio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Silvano Palben managed to get in a good position for a shot. SDF Chimuelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Palben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Eudoxio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With 77 minutes on the clock, Pedro Chesus commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Basavilbaso AFC a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geronimo Odilon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SDF Chimuelo's Gaudencio Theobald. 1-5. In the 85th match minute, Basavilbaso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Quin to maneuver through the defense. Donato Eudoxio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Fanuco in the 93rd minute. Silvano Palben received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donato Eudoxio came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvano Palben slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 96th minute. The Basavilbaso AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SDF Chimuelo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
