After having played for 5 minutes, Esteve Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sabor Menthol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Bento came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Sabor Menthol's Esteve Santos. But to his dismay, Esteve Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Tobias Aznar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Luzuriaga getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Lino Erdiano hit a great ball. Luzuriaga's Francisco Bento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Luzuriaga from getting a goal against them. If Honorato Osoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Indalecio in the 35th minute of play forced Luzuriaga's goalkeeper Francisco Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Orlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Senin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Aznar's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When Tobias Aznar came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Luzuriaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Aznar couldn't finish the play. Tobias Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Senin having to interfere.

The wind increased when Tobias Aznar made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Sabor Menthol's zone, Tobias Aznar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Senin came out of the goal and Tobias Aznar tried to chip the ball over his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Aznar during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Francisco Bento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteve Santos's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Luzuriaga's Francisco Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Osoitz in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Esteve Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Luzuriaga:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sabor Menthol:s goal. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Sabor Menthol. Victorio Casomiro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Francisco Bento. 4-0. Nereo Gustau took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Bento. Francisco Bento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Francisco Bento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Tobias Aznar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Sabor Menthol's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lino Erdiano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Esteve Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Luzuriaga players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sabor Menthol.
