Cristo James charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo James the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vias del Sur booed when Christophersen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo James didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Cordarrol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Orkatz in the 31st minute of the match. Sergio Orlandus hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gaspar Gelacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tomas Cordarrol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaspar Gelacio came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomas Cordarrol could save by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Orkatz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Vias del Sur's goalkeeper Inocencio Iigo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Orlandus. In the 60th minute, Rolando Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Gustau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Iigo having to interfere. Cristo James hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Vias del Sur manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Christophersen to win.
