The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonzo Orkatz to strike the kick off in the second half. Apolo Loren charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apolo Loren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vias del Sur! The referee gave Avantasia Fútbol Club a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vias del Sur's goalkeeper Inocencio Iigo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th match minute, Avantasia Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Maju to maneuver through the defense. If Gaspar Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Aballe took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inocencio Iigo. Inocencio Iigo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Avantasia Fútbol Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Avantasia Fútbol Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
