After a defensive mix-up in Palanca FC's zone, Dalmacio Abeijon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Balendin came out of the goal and Dalmacio Abeijon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Palanca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Abeijon came free, but Rene Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Trikiniqui FC's zone, Jesus Ayala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Valerio came out of the goal and Jesus Ayala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Trikiniqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Teodor came free, but Victorino Valerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Balendin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Trikiniqui FC's Bartolo Orti got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Miguel Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Leonides Teodor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Valerio was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Trikiniqui FC's Froilan Oier got a free kick in the 39th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Teodor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victorino Valerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Lain's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Dalmacio Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Frutos got free with Rene Balendin in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leonides Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Valerio having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Dalmacio Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trikiniqui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Balendin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd match minute, Palanca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Raymond to maneuver through the defense. Palanca FC's Leonides Teodor got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Palanca FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
