Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Leonides Teodor started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Palanca FC booed when Gonnet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Leonides Teodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roque Eder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Miguel Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Ayala charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jesus Ayala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jesus Ayala hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Gonnet's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Astor Jusepe in the 15th minute. Gonnet's Astor Jusepe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rene Balendin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rene Balendin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Moise in the 18th minute. A collision led to Palanca FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Carmelo Florian hit a great ball. Gonnet's Roque Eder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Lain in the 23rd minute of play. Roque Eder came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Palanca FC's Leonides Teodor. But to his dismay, Leonides Teodor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Miguel Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Teodor in the 30th minute of play forced Gonnet's goalkeeper Roque Eder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roque Eder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Miguel Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palanca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Lain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Eder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The wind increased when Jimeno Moise made the kick off in the second half. If Miguel Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. When Jimeno Moise came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gonnet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Moise couldn't finish the play. Miguel Lain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Roque Eder made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Miguel Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palanca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Lain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Eder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonides Teodor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Gonnet's Roque Eder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Gonnet from getting a goal against them. Jimeno Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimeno Moise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Palanca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Raymond to maneuver through the defense. When Miguel Lain came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Palanca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Lain couldn't finish the play. Palanca FC played a much better game than Gonnet and deserved their victory. The Gonnet players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
