St. Jimmy's Saul Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Ricart in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match, Severo Fero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eliseo Lucila saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Saul Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Quiroga in the 19th minute of play. Haroldo Gaztea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Lucila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. If Severo Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo Lucila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Fero's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Pablo Quiroga took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saul Azevedo. Saul Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Saul Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pablo Quiroga went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Saul Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th match minute, PASTAFRULA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Ricart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Azevedo having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pablo Quiroga to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, St. Jimmy's Saul Azevedo got control of the ball when Fabio Ricart tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, PASTAFRULA FC's Pablo Quiroga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Saul Azevedo. Saul Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Eliseo Lucila came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by St. Jimmy's Haroldo Gaztea. But to his dismay, Haroldo Gaztea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cayetano Bastia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Quiroga was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Pablo Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Azevedo having to interfere. Haroldo Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Saul Azevedo was a little too slow when Pablo Quiroga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-4. Ulises Bernard charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Bernard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, St. Jimmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Bernard to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind St. Jimmy's goalkeeper Saul Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severo Fero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Eliseo Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PASTAFRULA FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
