Altona's Leonardo Curcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Altona from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the game, Fabio Ricart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leonardo Curcio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pablo Quiroga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonardo Curcio came out and tried to block the shot, but Pablo Quiroga slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 33rd minute. A collision led to PASTAFRULA FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Joel Jurgi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Quiroga in the 38th minute of play forced Altona's goalkeeper Leonardo Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Quiroga was the one to do the kick off. If Santo Cordarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabio Ricart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Leonardo Curcio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Pueblo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Leonardo Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Pablo Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Curcio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when PASTAFRULA FC's Fabio Ricart shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in PASTAFRULA FC's zone, Santo Cordarius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Ricart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Curcio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Delmar Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PASTAFRULA FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altona had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
