Gavino Hanot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ceferino Darien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Virgilio Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Darien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Nahia in the 22nd minute of the match. Fidel Piearres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcelino Ibon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fidel Piearres. El Cultural's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Fanuco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingo Nahia had several of the Tiamayo AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Ceferino Darien as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ceferino Darien made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Domingo Nahia sent off a good shot on target. El Cultural's Domingo Nahia got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Virgilio Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Cultural's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Argina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Darien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virgilio Argina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Narciso Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Domingo Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Darien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jesus Chepe fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiamayo AFC's protests and gave Jesus Chepe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tiamayo AFC's Jesus Chepe got a free kick in the 77th minute. Tiamayo AFC's Ceferino Darien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Tiamayo AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute, Virgilio Argina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Domingo Nahia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceferino Darien was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Damaso Txerran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Ayala hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
