An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Jakue in the 13th minute of play forced Tiamayo AFC's goalkeeper Ceferino Darien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Fraco's late challenge caught a Tiamayo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Fraco helped the player get up and apologised. 26 minutes into the game, Leon Ayala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiamayo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Central the free kick. In the 32nd minute of the match Omar Tolino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosendo Enmanuel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Damaso Txerran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Enmanuel. Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Txerran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Narciso Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Enmanuel having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Fanuco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jacinto Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Narciso Fanuco took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Rosendo Enmanuel to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 68 minutes, Jacinto Cordeara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Cordeara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Tiamayo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Fanuco. In the 77th minute, Guillermo Gustau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiamayo AFC's Ceferino Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Cordeara in the 79th minute of play. Damaso Txerran struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Rosendo Enmanuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiamayo AFC. With a little luck, Rosario Central's Rosendo Enmanuel got control of the ball when Damaso Txerran tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Rosario Central's Hipolito Fraco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceferino Darien made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When Hipolito Fraco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. After 93 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Fraco. The Tiamayo AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
