The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, NOB's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Moise came free, but Eduardo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Moise in the 7th minute of play forced NOB's goalkeeper Eduardo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Americo Clis came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the NOB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Clis couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Los Ramones FC. booed when NOB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Paublo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Federico Rey fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NOB's protests and gave Federico Rey a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NOB! When Aldo Crispo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the NOB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aldo Crispo couldn't finish the play. Ismael Oihan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Los Ramones FC. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Gutierrez to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Jeremias Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes NOB got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Amor. Jeremias Moise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Batista having to interfere. Gaspar Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Nevada having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Isidoro Lorien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Aldo Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Crispo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Aldo Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Nevada having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind NOB's goalkeeper Eduardo Batista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sixto Nevada made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Americo Clis sent off a good shot on target. Many of NOB's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. NOB may have spent more time on the ball, but Los Ramones FC. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
