In the 24th minute, Victorio Ekialde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes El Cultural got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Hanot. Fidel Piearres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Ekialde, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jacobo Ricart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Piearres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Ramon Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Piearres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Roman Txema came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Paloma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Txema couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Argina was the one to do the kick off. Fidel Piearres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Ekialde went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Nicanor Isidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Paloma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Paloma played a much better game than El Cultural and deserved their victory. The El Cultural players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
