LOST TAPE's Ramiro Lizbeth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Firman in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alvear FC's zone, Placido Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Dante came out of the goal and Placido Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, LOST TAPE's Ramiro Lizbeth got control of the ball when Pompiliu Iacob tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubaldo Hartz took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Lizbeth. Ramiro Lizbeth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ubaldo Hartz's late challenge caught a LOST TAPE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Hartz helped the player get up and apologised. Ubaldo Hartz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gabriel Refugio fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOST TAPE's protests and gave Gabriel Refugio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Alvear FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Barea to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Placido Fernandez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ubaldo Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvear FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Hartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Lizbeth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Firman in the 64th minute of play forced LOST TAPE's goalkeeper Ramiro Lizbeth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, LOST TAPE's Paulino Roland got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ubaldo Hartz scored 2-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramiro Lizbeth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Fernandez got free with Charles Dante in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, LOST TAPE's Aquiles Dolfo got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Gabriel Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ubaldo Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvear FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Hartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. One of LOST TAPE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alvear FC:s goal. In the 96th minute of the match Florentino Barros sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Lizbeth skillfully saved the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alvear FC had played much better football throughout.
