Joaquin Gipuzkoa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. If Narciso Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Tiamayo AFC's Damaso Txerran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Batista narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafino Amor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ceferino Darien. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Clis got free with Ceferino Darien in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeledon Romildo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Moises Paublo from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Ceferino Darien's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Americo Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Darien having to interfere. Americo Clis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Ceferino Darien made a huge save. Gaspar Ekain kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th play minute Americo Clis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ceferino Darien. 2-1. Serafino Amor hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Narciso Fanuco came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Tiamayo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Fanuco couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute Narciso Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, NOB's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Txerran came free, but Eduardo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Damaso Txerran kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot NOB's keeper Eduardo Batista was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Fanuco in the 56th minute of play forced NOB's goalkeeper Eduardo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Narciso Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Narciso Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Americo Clis managed to get in a good position for a shot. NOB's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Clis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Darien breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eduardo Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Fanuco in the 81st minute of the match. Americo Clis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ceferino Darien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Batista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Fanuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
