Charles Dante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tryangulo FC's zone, Norberto Firman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugeniusz Piczak came out of the goal and Norberto Firman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, Tryangulo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Firman came free, but Eugeniusz Piczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Funes Mori during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Norberto Firman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eugeniusz Piczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tryangulo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! Ubaldo Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugeniusz Piczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Firman, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Norberto Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Piczak having to interfere. Tryangulo FC's Eugeniusz Piczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Hartz in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alvear FC's goalkeeper Charles Dante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto Firman was the one to do the kick off. Norberto Firman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Piczak having to interfere. Ubaldo Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eugeniusz Piczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvear FC's Pompiliu Iacob got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fidel Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Francisco Txindoki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tryangulo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvear FC the free kick. A collision led to Tryangulo FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Francisco Txindoki hit a great ball. Ubaldo Hartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Norberto Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Javier Dominic came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Tryangulo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Dominic couldn't finish the play. Norberto Firman struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Eugeniusz Piczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvear FC. Charles Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Handi in the 79th minute of the match. Edgar Bochynski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 85th minute, Fidel Handi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Arturo Txerran notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Alvear FC's Charles Dante. Charles Dante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the game, Alvear FC's Norberto Firman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugeniusz Piczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
