In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind IX Brigada's goalkeeper Silvestre Toro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, IX Brigada's Gustavo Guillelme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Maties made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to IX Brigada getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Fernan Medardo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the IX Brigada defense, Florentino Mundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Toro. The IX Brigada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Toro should have stopped the shot. Aristides Dimo might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvestre Toro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Dimo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to IX Brigada getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jimeno Chano hit a great ball. Gustavo Isias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvestre Toro having to interfere. Gustavo Guillelme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Silvestre Maties made a huge save. After 38 minutes, Florentino Mundo made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. IX Brigada's Silvestre Toro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Florentino Mundo made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Toro. IX Brigada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Feliberto Blasco's late challenge caught a C. A. Jaguares del Sur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliberto Blasco helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to IX Brigada getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Feliberto Blasco hit a great ball. Florentino Mundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Florentino Mundo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Silvestre Toro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Florentino Mundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Toro was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Jimeno Chano kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Mundo in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Toro saved IX Brigada from getting behind. After having played for 94 minutes, Emilio Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Jaguares del Sur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Telesforo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C. A. Jaguares del Sur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
