Julian Lluc might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Quintin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Lluc ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute, Baltasar Bide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Aurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eleuterio Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Isidro Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidro Ixona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidro Ixona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eleuterio Artal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Justo Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Chuse kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Isidro Ixona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Justo Aurre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morteros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lázaro Vincent kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 82 minutes of play, Gramilla FC's Santos Jaen made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Quintin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Morteros defense, Julian Lluc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Quintin. The Morteros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Quintin should have stopped the shot.
