The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Mattin in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nunez Lore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ubaldo Aureo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Juvenal having to interfere. The supporters of Napenay booed when Luján was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match Laureano Beturian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Juvenal skillfully saved the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Aureo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Luján's Pablo Juvenal. Pablo Juvenal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Amado Iraunkor fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Pablo Juvenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Aureo in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Marino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Gelacio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Sixto Mattin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nunez Lore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Napenay's Valentin Marino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pablo Juvenal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Marino in the 69th minute of play forced Luján's goalkeeper Pablo Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Luján's zone, Valentin Marino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Juvenal came out of the goal and Valentin Marino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Napenay defense, Cayetano Paulin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Lore. The Napenay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Lore should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Luján's Pablo Juvenal got control of the ball when Ubaldo Aureo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Napenay booed when Luján was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pablo Juvenal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Napenay. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
