EL FONDO were furious when Generoso Cordara was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for EL FONDO! EL FONDO:s Erasmo Ugaitz showed great skill when he stopped Teofilo Mannuel:s penalty. Nereo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Erasmo Ugaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Egoi in the 97th minute of play forced EL FONDO's goalkeeper Erasmo Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
